HIT is an abbreviation of Health Institute of Technology, and its solid and weighty wordmark represents the stature of a prestigious university as well as the image of a creative institution.
The new UI of HIT was developed to break away from the existing image of health junior college and to organize new images of college as prestigious universities and global capabilities.
Lux Mundi is a Latin for 'The light of the world' and expresses how students at HIT brightens the world and leads a hopeful future through their exploration of truth.
It is the year of establishment of Daejeon Health Junior College, the predecessor of Daejeon Health Institute of Technology.
It symbolizes the protection of philanthropy, exploration, and diligence, which are school ideology. The line in the middle of the shield symbolizes the person(人) and expresses academic research for the person.
